PRP (Platelet rich plasma) is a stem cell-rich component of blood harvested from your own blood. This plasma is known to stimulate collagen production as well as hair regeneration.
First, we take your blood in a special vial, and place in centrifuge to separate the PRP. Once spinned, the PRP is removed from the rest of the blood component, and placed in a syringe.
This plasma is then injected to your scalp. Many tiny shots are given to the area of thinning hair.
The procedure takes about 30 min total, and there is minimal pain on injections. We recommend injection every 4-6 weeks for 3 treatments for the best results.
